Lifetime Warranty
THE GUVNOR STANDARD: BUILT FOR LIFE
At GUVNOR, we manufacture clothing with the spirit of British industry: solid, reliable, and built to last. We stand firmly behind the quality of our construction. If a product fails due to how we made it, we will fix it.
The Promise:
We warrant our products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for the practical lifetime of the product.
WHAT IS COVERED (The Workmanship Guarantee)
If our craftsmanship fails you, we step in. This covers:
Seam Failure: Stitching coming undone or unraveling under normal use.
Hardware Failure: Zippers, poppers, rivets, or buttons that break or detach due to attachment faults.
Fabric Flaws: Structural defects in the weave or knitting of the material found upon receipt or after the first wash.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED (The Strict Reality)
"Lifetime" refers to the reasonable practical lifespan of the product, not the lifetime of the owner. This warranty does not cover:
Standard Wear and Tear: The inevitable fading of colors, fraying of cuffs/collars, or thinning of fabric that occurs with extended use and time.
Accidental Damage: Rips, tears, burns, snags, or stains caused by accidents (e.g., catching your sleeve on a fence or spilling fluids).
Improper Care: Damage caused by ignoring the care label instructions (e.g., tumble drying at high heat, bleaching, or boiling).
Alterations: Any third-party tailoring or modifications void this warranty instantly.
In the spirit of British heritage and sustainability, our first course of action is always to Repair.
Repair: If a seam splits or a snap breaks, we will professionally repair it to restore full functionality.
Replace: If the item cannot be repaired and is deemed a manufacturing defect, we will replace it with the same item (or the closest available version).
Credit: If the item is no longer in production, we will issue a store credit for the current value.
